Digital Literacy and correctional education

ICT is becoming important to live a useful live. It is possible in today's Norway to communicate with a bank or other authorities without the use of Internet and ICT. If you do not know to use the new technologies you will be literate in a way that can disclose you from the labour market.

In prison the use of Internet must follow the rules on the use of phones and writing letters.

 We must solve the dilemma between education and security.

Delegation visit Germany

A large group of prison teaciversity of teachers and administrators from Norway and few from Sweden will in the beginning of January 2008 visit University of Bremen and several prison schools in order to learn about the German socio-technical system that has same roots as the
Pipeline System.

The purpose of the visit is to learn from German experiens and study how the outcome of PIPELINE Project can be implemented in Norway.
